Dr. Wildern’s Weekend Ski Adventure!
A look at how Dr. Wildern likes to spend a special weekend!
As many of you know Dr. Wildern has a passion for skiing when he is not doing dentistry. He recently took a long weekend and went up to Canada to enjoy some time skiing in the mountains. This is not just your ordinary ski trip. Dr. Wildern likes to go back country skiing. This is when a group of people get dropped off on the side or top of a mountain and they ski down the mountain where they will later pick them up and do it all over again. These are not groomed trails and you never know what kind of conditions or terrain you will be getting into. Here is an inside look from Dr. Wildern’s helmet at what he sees when he is going down one of these mountains.

Dentist in Grand Rapids helping Murray Lake Hurricane Sandy Fund and troops.
Dear Dr. Wildern and Staff,
“Thank you for letting us bring in our Halloween candy into your office. The Teachers, Parents and staff thought it was the best idea! Thanks for the check you sent us. It was put towards our Hurricane Sandy Fund. The article below was in The Murray Lake Messenger and another article was in the Lowell Buyers Guide with your name and what your office did with the candy and the money you sent us. Thanks again!”

Murray Lake PE teacher Missy Harrison teamed up with Dr. Kent Wildern, a dentist in Grand Rapids, and collected “extra” Halloween candy from Murray Lake students. The candy was donated to military troops through Operation Gratitude. Dr. Wildern thanked the students for the wonderful donation of Halloween candy and letters for our military troops. The candy weighed in at 78 pounds! Dr. Wildern and his staff are also sending sugarless gum along with the candy as their donation to help encourage and support our troops. Dr. Wildern gave Murray Lake Elementary $1.00 a pound for the candy. This money will be donated to the Hurricane Sandy Fund.

One of Dr Wildern’s patients climbed El Potrero Chico, in Mexico’s eastern Sierra Madre.
One of our patients, Charles Hamel did a climb in December to raise research funds for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Medicare age people that have Priority Health Insurance now have Delta Dental coverage for one periodic exam and one prophy (cleaning) per year paid at 100%. They also cover one set of bitewings x-rays per year paid at 50%.
