What patients having Surgery should know!

Recently Dr. Wildern saw a patient that was having extensive surgery the following week. This patient had severe periodontal disease and needed her teeth scaled and cleaned up very badly. The hospital had no idea of her condition and would have done the surgery without concern for the high bacteria count in her system and mouth. Our office feels that any patient that is having surgery should make sure there mouth is in reasonable shape before having their surgery.
